THE APPROACH
Understanding
the treatment.
Skin needling, also known as microneedling, uses fine needles to create controlled channels in the skin. Elizabeth considers it for concerns such as uneven texture, the appearance of fine lines and old scarring. The treatment area and your skin history guide the proposed approach.
WHAT WE CAN DISCUSS
Uneven texture, visible pores, fine lines and old acne scars.
What to expect.
Your skin is assessed before the session is planned. Elizabeth explains the needling process, preparation and aftercare, including what to expect during recovery. If further appointments are recommended, there is time between visits to review how your skin responds.
Suitability and the details of your proposed treatment are discussed before you proceed. Outcomes and recovery vary; your own plan is based on individual assessment.
Your questions, considered.
How does this differ from Dermaforce?
Skin needling is a needling technique; Dermaforce combines needling with radiofrequency. Elizabeth will discuss which, if either, suits your priorities.
Can I book just before an event?
Discuss your event date before arranging treatment. Allowing for recovery is part of planning, and the timing should be agreed with Elizabeth.
